How do copyright issues escalate and accumulate on Mindset App?

Mindset App, and its community, are doing their best to resolve copyright issues in the motivational and self-development industry. That’s why we ask you to list all contributing speakers and creators on every audio track, sharing earned revenue with them. Even still, sometimes copyright issues arise. Here’s what it means.

First, earning for the audio track in question will be held and frozen until the copyright issue is resolved. Following that, the notice impacts you in one or two ways.

Stage one: If your channel received one (or more) copyright notice(s) and you effectively dealt with the concern* by either 1) proving you had ownership, a license, or permission to use the content, or 2) successfully helping the other contributor verify their account to receive a share of the earnings, or, 3) you removed the content from your channel, the copyright notice you received will not have a long-term effect on your partner account (other than our team continuing to work with you to ensure you’re adhering to our copyright guide.)

Stage two: If your partner account received one (or more) copyright notice(s) and you did not effectively respond to the notice(s)*, nor did you successfully resolve the concern, the copyright notice you received will be noted on your account. Once three notices initiated by different speakers or creators accumulate, additional steps may be taken to monitor or de-monetize your partner account.

* Copyright notices need to be acted upon within 30 days of receiving the notice or else the audio track in question will automatically be removed from your account.
